Just in time for some more rain!

Begining our new french drain.

Last Sunday it rained 6 inches between 5:00 and 6:30. As a result our house was flooded. We had to rip up carpet in 3 rooms and the hallway. Most of the water that caused the problem comes from the houses behind us, we are below them on a hill. Our goal is to divert the water before it gets to our house. The french drain go across the backyard, out the gate, to the street.
Today we will be putting gravel and a perforated pipe in the ditch today.

We Made it!!

Hershey and I have been training to become a pet partner team with the Delta Animal Society. This is a group that screens and evaluates teams to go on visits to hospitals, nursing homes, and any other facility that requests for a team visit. We began researching this after our last visit to Greg's grandfather, hopefully the next time we go
Hershey will be able to go in and visit also.

Graham's 9th Birthday

Graham celebrated his birthday at the transportation museum this year. He had friends from his old school and new school, so it made for quite a party. He was able to use the caboose as his party room.

They all got to go on a Train ride.

Grayson had his first scrimmage today!

Happy Birthday Grandmother!!!

On Sunday the day before Mom's birthday we had a dinner with friends at the house.





On Monday, her actual birthday she got her presents from the boys. Thanks to Aunt Pam the boys love to sew! Grandmother now has 3 beautiful new pillows for her room.

1st day of School 2009

This year Grayson will be starting Jr. High, can you believe it? He is going to be changing classes and have 7 different periods. He has decided to try out football and give soccer a break for the fall.

Graham will be going into 3^rd grade and is going to the same school as Calvin this year. Calvin is in 4^th grade. They will both be either riding their bikes or scooters to school.

Everyone was nervous about their first days, but they all came home with smiles on their faces.

I will let Dad drive me to the bus stop, BUT DON'T Get Out and NO PICTURES!

We're on our way, It is 1 mile to school.

In July we got together with some of Greg's cousins. We camped out on the San Marcos River. It was fun getting to see and play with everyone.
